The supporters of FC Lechia Stavanger booed when Hangovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolis Karalexopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, 程磊谦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lechia Stavanger were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Hangovers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eskil Våge took the corner. The supporters of FC Lechia Stavanger booed when Hangovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stathis Papageorgas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eskil Våge came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Lechia Stavanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Våge couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morten Klaussen in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorotheos Gittas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes Hangovers FC got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Lagizos. Dorotheos Gittas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Christian Valde in the 24th minute of play. Manolis Karalexopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dorotheos Gittas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Christian Valde in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Hangovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tarjei Ottem came free, but Dorotheos Gittas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manolis Karalexopoulos took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Hilstad. Eric Hilstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Morten Klaussen hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Argyris Bolirakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Hilstad came out and tried to block the shot, but Argyris Bolirakis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. Eric Hilstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolis Karalexopoulos in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manolis Karalexopoulos to make the kick off. When Stathis Papageorgas fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hangovers FC's protests and gave Stathis Papageorgas a yellow card for diving instead. FC Lechia Stavanger's Kristian Sele was substituted for Daniel Thorsen. Stathis Papageorgas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Instead of passing the ball, Eskil Våge made a really hard long shot towards goal. Hangovers FC's Dorotheos Gittas realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. Nils-Christian Valde might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorotheos Gittas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils-Christian Valde ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56thth minute of the game Nils-Christian Valde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hangovers FC's Dorotheos Gittas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Kristian Sele shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorotheos Gittas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nikiforos Zelidis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Dorotheos Gittas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Christian Valde in the 60th minute of the match. Morten Klaussen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 62nd playminute. Notis Svolopoulos hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Eutichios Diamantidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarjei Ottem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dorotheos Gittas made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, FC Lechia Stavanger's Nils-Christian Valde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorotheos Gittas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vassilis Lagizos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Nils-Christian Valde took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorotheos Gittas. Dorotheos Gittas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 82 minutes into the match, FC Lechia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Manolis Karalexopoulos came free, but Eric Hilstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Hangovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Våge came free, but Dorotheos Gittas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nils-Christian Valde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorotheos Gittas was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Hangovers FC's zone, Nils-Christian Valde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorotheos Gittas came out of the goal and Nils-Christian Valde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Lechia Stavanger players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
