After 2 played minutes Lipochσrion FC got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Melas. A collision led to Lipochσrion FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fotis Melas hit a great ball. Panagiotis Kissas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Ensrud in the 10th minute. The corner led FC Lechia Stavanger's Bjarne Throndsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Panagiotis Kissas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gabriel Ensrud kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Eric Hilstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Melas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Eric Hilstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aleksander Brzakala went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 23 minutes of play, Lipochσrion FC's Fotis Melas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Hilstad was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 28 minutes, Fotis Melas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Lechia Stavanger's Eric Hilstad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Lechia Stavanger's Eric Hilstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Melas in the 32nd minute of play. Necat Baysal took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Hilstad. Eric Hilstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 42nd minute, Bjarne Throndsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aleksander Brzakala came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Lipochσrion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Brzakala couldn't finish the play. Eric Hilstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necat Baysal in the 46th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Emrah Alatay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eric Hilstad quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Christian Valde to make the kick off. FC Lechia Stavanger's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Fotis Melas scored to the left of an out of position Eric Hilstad, making the score, 0-5. In the 56th minute, Necat Baysal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Hilstad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Nils-Christian Valde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Necat Baysal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipochσrion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Necat Baysal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Hilstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Bell during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Lechia Stavanger's Axel Bell got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Stathis Aggelakos came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Lipochσrion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stathis Aggelakos couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Necat Baysal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Eric Hilstad managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Lipochσrion FC's Fotis Melas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 78th minute Fotis Melas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Hilstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, FC Lechia Stavanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarjei Ottem to maneuver through the defense. Eric Hilstad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksander Brzakala in the 82nd minute. The Lipochσrion FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Lipochσrion FC's Fotis Melas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fotis Melass short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Eric Hilstad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tarjei Ottem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Panagiotis Kissas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Lechia Stavanger made a substitution. Hans-Kristian Bjørdal replaced Mikkel Wiggen. In the 89th play minute Necat Baysal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eric Hilstad. 0-8. After a rather tough play, FC Lechia Stavanger's Bjarne Throndsen got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lipochσrion FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
