But to his dismay, Shi Yao Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jeroen Maasland managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Kwakel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeroen Maasland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Wielens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freek Veldkamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Kwakel FC's Freek Veldkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Orlanda in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of De Horsterboeren SV booed when De Kwakel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolf de Haan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Yao Zhen got free with Freek Veldkamp in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute of the match De Horsterboeren SV got a corner. De Kwakel FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joris Zoetmulder ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led De Horsterboeren SV's Joris Zoetmulder to fire away a dangerous shot which Freek Veldkamp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Orlanda in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freek Veldkamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Shi Yao Zhen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freek Veldkamp. De Kwakel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shi Yao Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 34 minutes into the game, De Horsterboeren SV's Shi Yao Zhen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freek Veldkamp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to De Horsterboeren SV getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Anthony Terpstra hit a great ball. German Orlanda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Freek Veldkamp came out and tried to block the shot, but German Orlanda slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Shi Yao Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in De Horsterboeren SV's zone, Stasio Gruchacz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephan Wielens came out of the goal and Stasio Gruchacz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stephan Wielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeroen Maasland in the 62nd minute of play. De Kwakel FC's Freek Veldkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Orlanda in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Shi Yao Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Horsterboeren SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Yao Zhen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freek Veldkamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Orlanda in the 72nd minute of the match. German Orlanda struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Freek Veldkamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Horsterboeren SV. In the 76th minute, German Orlanda made a precise shot to the right of Freek Veldkamp. De Kwakel FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Freek Veldkamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Vesterberg in the 83rd minute of play forced De Kwakel FC's goalkeeper Freek Veldkamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freek Veldkamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Vesterberg in the 89th minute of the match. Freek Veldkamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Vesterberg in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, De Kwakel FC's goal looked a bit too open when German Orlanda came free, but Freek Veldkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Horsterboeren SV fully deserved thier win.
