João Pedro Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, De Kwakel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niilo Mikkola came free, but Freek Veldkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes De Kwakel FC got a freekick which was hit by Joop Bont. Martin van Asseldonk's late challenge caught a SeleSantos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin van Asseldonk helped the player get up and apologised. Martin van Asseldonk hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Niilo Mikkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freek Veldkamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes in the game, Niilo Mikkola fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Freek Veldkamp having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niilo Mikkola in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freek Veldkamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Niilo Mikkola put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Freek Veldkamp. Martin van Asseldonk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niilo Mikkola in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freek Veldkamp saved De Kwakel FC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Martin van Asseldonk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin van Asseldonk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SeleSantos FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when SeleSantos FC's Niilo Mikkola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, SeleSantos FC's Freek Veldkamp threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niilo Mikkola, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The SeleSantos FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when SeleSantos FC's Jacobo Casado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stasio Gruchacz got free with Dinei Pinheiro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freek Veldkamp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niilo Mikkola's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 61st match minute, De Kwakel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Meulman to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Freek Veldkamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niilo Mikkola in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freek Veldkamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freek Veldkamp came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SeleSantos FC's Jacobo Casado. But to his dismay, Jacobo Casado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Freek Veldkamp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Casado's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niilo Mikkola in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freek Veldkamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in De Kwakel FC's zone, Niilo Mikkola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freek Veldkamp came out of the goal and Niilo Mikkola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when De Kwakel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joop Bont didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Niilo Mikkola sped through De Kwakel FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freek Veldkamp. In the 94th minute, Niilo Mikkola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freek Veldkamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0.
