An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Yao Zhen in the 4th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Panagiotis Kissas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes De Horsterboeren SV got a freekick which was hit by Martin Wästerberg. Panagiotis Kissas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Yao Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necat Baysal got free with Stephan Wielens in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute of the match Lipochσrion FC got a corner. De Horsterboeren SV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emrah Alatay ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Emrah Alatay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stephan Wielens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Yao Zhen in the 40th minute of play. Aleksander Brzakala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Wielens having to interfere. A collision led to De Horsterboeren SV getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Martin Wästerberg hit a great ball. Stephan Wielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Brzakala in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fotis Melas was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Shi Yao Zhen could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Panagiotis Kissas however easily saved by the left post. Hans Terpstra charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Terpstra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fotis Melas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Shi Yao Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Horsterboeren SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Yao Zhen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Vesterberg in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute De Horsterboeren SV were awarded a corner. Joris Zoetmulder went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led De Horsterboeren SV's Joris Zoetmulder to fire away a dangerous shot which Panagiotis Kissas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lipochσrion FC's Panagiotis Kissas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Orlanda in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Fotis Melas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Wielens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
