Dorotheos Gittas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorotheos Gittas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Hangovers FC's Dorotheos Gittas got control of the ball when Klas Bergqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorotheos Gittas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Eutichios Diamantidis made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vassilis Lagizos. After some careless play in the Hangovers FC defense, Carlos Alberto Tevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorotheos Gittas. The Hangovers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorotheos Gittas should have stopped the shot. If Carlos Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dorotheos Gittas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes in the game Eutichios Diamantidis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vassilis Lagizos. 28 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Tevez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dorotheos Gittas, 3-0. After 38 minutes, Carlos Alberto Tevez made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hangovers FC's Dorotheos Gittas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Alberto Tevez might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorotheos Gittas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Alberto Tevez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 minutes, Carlos Alberto Tevez made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hangovers FC's Dorotheos Gittas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Manolis Karalexopoulos made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Hangovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Tevez came free, but Dorotheos Gittas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. National Team Cape-Verde's Bennvar Post was substituted for Carlos Alberto Tevez. Manolis Karalexopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes in the game Eutichios Diamantidis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vassilis Lagizos. Dorotheos Gittas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bennvar Post went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Post in the 64th minute of play forced Hangovers FC's goalkeeper Dorotheos Gittas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. National Team Cape-Verde's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fredric Melander in the 65th minute. Bennvar Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dorotheos Gittas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Post in the 68th minute of play. National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eutichios Diamantidis in the 69 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Eutichios Diamantidis in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by National Team Cape-Verde's Roland Björklund. 76 minutes into the match, Bennvar Post had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorotheos Gittas. Hangovers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bennvar Post was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 80th minute, Bennvar Post left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The National Team Cape-Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Dorotheos Gittas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cris Montoia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Eutichios Diamantidis threw the ball into play from the sideline. National Team Cape-Verde's Roland Björklund quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Hangovers FC booed when National Team Cape-Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Manolis Karalexopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Bennvar Post put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dorotheos Gittas. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. National Team Cape-Verde had played much better football throughout.
