Theagenis Giannou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. LOS BUITRES's attentive Laurence Suggs managed to snatch the ball when Ilias Mavrokordatos made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. A collision led to LOS BUITRES getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leonard Lixandru hit a great ball. Paul Bogrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necat Baysal in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by LOS BUITRES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emrah Alatay was slow to take the kick. During this time Lipochσrion FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Emrah Alatay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LOS BUITRES's Paul Bogrea did a great save. In the 27th minute Fotis Melas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Bogrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Lv Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Giannou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The LOS BUITRES fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from Ilias Mavrokordatos in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LOS BUITRES's Laurence Suggs. Lipochσrion FC's Theagenis Giannou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Zhou in the 44th minute of play. Theagenis Giannou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Zhou in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Melas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of LOS BUITRES booed when Lipochσrion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evripidis Frantzeskos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lv Zhou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theagenis Giannou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play.
