After a defensive mix-up in LOS BUITRES's zone, Bennvar Post stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Bogrea came out of the goal and Bennvar Post tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Bogrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Post in the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Yin Yang Wei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bennvar Post's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Bogrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Zhou in the 36th minute of the match. When Bennvar Post came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the National Team Cape-Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bennvar Post couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Lv Zhou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lv Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bennvar Post to strike the kick off in the second half.
