Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudiu Coidum started the match with the kick off. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Cristinel Vrejiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudiu Coidum showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Gigel Alecu got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adrian Antoniu. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, UFC Mahmudie's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Cristinel Vrejiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Coidum in the 21st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, UFC Mahmudie's Claudiu Coidum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cristinel Vrejiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. After 33 played minutes UFC Mahmudie got a freekick which was hit by Denis Mardarie. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudiu Coidum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Coidum, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudiu Coidum fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Mahmudie's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristinel Vrejiu came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Cristinel Vrejiu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. UFC Mahmudie's Cristinel Vrejiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UFC Mahmudie's Octavian Crăiniceanu got a free kick in the 61st minute. Cristinel Vrejiu made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UFC Mahmudie booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Claudiu Coidum took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudiu Coidum struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Mahmudie. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UFC Mahmudie had won after a very even match.
