Remus Vermeşan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Victor Huștiu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Huștiu couldn't finish the play. Remus Vermeşan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Rosendo Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Felix Vărzaru got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Remus Vermeşan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Vermeşan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Victor Huștiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Seguinus saved ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Seguinus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Semeghin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Huștiu in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Eduard Semeghin scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Vermeşan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Vermeşan in the 74th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Seguinus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Huștiu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Eduard Semeghin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
