Alexandre Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Spartak das Kaldas getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Avelino Meireles hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juliano Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilídio Valério kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Juliano Brito came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Spartak das Kaldas booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juliano Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Spartak das Kaldas's Juliano Brito. Juliano Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd match minute, Spartak das Kaldas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Meira to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Moises Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juliano Brito. That made the score 0-5 after 63 minutes of play. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eduardo Palhares, made in the 68th minute of the game. Juliano Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Juliano Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 71st minute of the match. Eduardo Palhares made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Avelino Meireles immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Spartak das Kaldas's Pedro Meira got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Spartak das Kaldas's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Juliano Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spartak das Kaldas's goalkeeper Juliano Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Alexandre Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juliano Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of play. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Eduardo Palhares with Henrique Júdice as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 95 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. In the 98th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
