Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Martin Odén made the kick off which started today's match. Billy Torsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Lindström having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Torsberg in the 14th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Matthias Ekegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juoksengi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Ekegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matthias Ekegren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Billy Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abel Carballo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costa Rica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abel Carballo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 44 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Matthias Ekegren:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Juoksengi's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Lindström came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthias Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Billy Torsberg notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Odén's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juoksengi fully deserved thier win.
