The wind increased when Arkın Öğüç made the kick off in the second half. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Mämmädbağır Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Forss got free with Marco Day in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raphael Moore hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mämmädbağır Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, USA's Sam Campbell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mämmädbağır Svensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
