Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Rocky Dejardin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute of the match, Rocky Dejardin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jorge Mohammed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 31st minute of play. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Tor Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Palestino فلسطين's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Dejardin in the 36th minute of play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Palestino فلسطين's goalie prevented a goal. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocky Dejardin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Club Palestino فلسطين were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
