A collision led to Nobels IF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Emanuel Rydberg hit a great ball. If Emanuel Rydberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nobels IF's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arvin Skager. After some careless play in the Nobels IF defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Skager. The Nobels IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Skager should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinedine Pogba in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nobels IF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zinedine Pogba hit a great ball. Konrad Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zinedine Pogba got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dorival Guimarães in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 32nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nobels IF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Skager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nobels IF's Göran Bergstedt got a free kick in the 45th minute.

In the 51st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Nobels IF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Rydberg. In the 60th minute, Nobels IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 61 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Arvin Skager didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Arvin Skager made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Nobels IF's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Arvin Skager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Skager made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Nobels IF's Konrad Hellbom got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arvin Skager firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zinedine Pogba struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nobels IF. Nobels IF's Arvin Skager proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Nobels IF from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arvin Skager. That made the score 0-4 after 92 minutes of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
