In the 2nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Cezary Podolski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Podolski in the 5th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute of the match FC Norkins got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Korneliusz Borcz ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Norkins's Korneliusz Borcz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Norkins's Korneliusz Borcz. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogumil Jenkot in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezary Podolski got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Jenkot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Bogumil Jenkot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 minutes of play, FC Norkins's Bogumil Jenkot made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Norkins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Kostrzewa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Jenkot in the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bogumil Jenkot made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 62 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Jenkot came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Bogumil Jenkot sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 67 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Cezary Podolski charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cezary Podolski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes FC Norkins got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Podolski. In the 76th minute, Cyryl Dankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Tomas Illescas managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogumil Jenkot in the 80th minute of play. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Alex Chicote with Patricio Costa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogumil Jenkot's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Cezary Podolski struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Norkins. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
