Leszek Pisarcik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Jenkot in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play forced FC Norkins's goalkeeper Leszek Pisarcik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leszek Pisarcik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Leszek Pisarcik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leszek Pisarcik. That made the score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. In the 61st minute Cezary Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Cadaval took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leszek Pisarcik. Leszek Pisarcik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. FC Norkins's Leszek Pisarcik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Norkins's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest.
