In the 10th minute Kian Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. If Kian Natanael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Kevin Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Helmuth Duckadam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manuel Şoimu made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Manuel Şoimu charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Şoimu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Colombia's Gael Capmany was substituted for Joshua Garrido. After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Manuel Şoimu got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Manuel Şoimu in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kian Natanael in the 64th minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Kian Natanael tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kian Natanael in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmuth Duckadam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Gael Capmany fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 81st minute, Abram Secada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kian Natanael got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustav Kvick's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Kvick helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
