After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Naci Kaynak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Recep Çetin sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Chesney Nicholson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chesney Nicholson. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Chesney Nicholson sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chesney Nicholson's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Recep Çetin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Stålberg got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chesney Nicholson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Daniel Stålberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Daniel Stålberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chesney Nicholson in the 74th minute of play. Tomas Illescas in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nurtekin Üner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Naci Kaynak came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naci Kaynak's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Orhan Kutulmuş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cem Özinan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
