Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Chico de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Chico de Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico de Sousa. 22 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico de Sousa in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A nice corner shot did that Chico de Sousa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruy de Brito got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dalmo Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Jovens Democratas MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. In the 36th minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, David Puyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Antonio Indiano got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chico de Sousa made a kick off. Chico de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Abram Sarmiento sped through Jovens Democratas MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmo Saldanha. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. In the 60th minute Xu Li Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco van Basten went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Chico de Sousa took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Marco van Basten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia's Abram Secada managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Xu Li Sang in the 86 minute of the game. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Marco van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Sousa in the 94th minute of play. Jovens Democratas MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruy de Brito in the 97th minute. Chico de Sousa was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
