The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipólito Malheiro in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes, Hipólito Malheiro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tiago Fontão, made in the 16th minute of the game. Custódio Teive made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Correa in the 17th minute of play. Dínamo Kwanza's Custódio Teive played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Felíx Galão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Hipólito Malheiros short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dínamo Kwanza were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastián Sá took the corner. In the 59th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fábio Preto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 65 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastián Sá who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Fábio Preto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Hipólito Malheiro sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Custódio Teive was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The Dínamo Kwanza players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
