In the 32ndth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC U Cluj-N's Mircea Calboreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Ivan Florescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivan Florescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Mircea Calboreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. Mircea Calboreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC U Cluj-N's Mircea Calboreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Cazalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Mircea Calboreanu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ignacio Mastache sent off a good shot on target.
