Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a GKS BROWAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksander Matuch. Aleksander Matuch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aleksander Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS BROWAR's goalkeeper Aleksander Matuch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, GKS BROWAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Hajto to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Aleksander Matuch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksander Matuch having to make a save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when GKS BROWAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Trela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jeferson Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute GKS BROWAR were awarded a corner. Henk Linder went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Henk Linder almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. GKS BROWAR's Jeferson Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Kosel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leon Kosel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksander Matuch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. GKS BROWAR made a substitution. Waclaw Mindykowski replaced Bartosz Trela. In the 65th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aleksander Matuch. The goal made the score 0-3. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aleksander Matuch in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Oryniak in the 74th minute of play. Aleksander Matuch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
