An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play forced Moscovi Ψ's goalkeeper Kiliz Mauleon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Bamford in the 16th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Bamford, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karahan Cansoy in the 44 minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Eudoxio in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Moscovi Ψ's Edgard Eudoxio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kiliz Mauleon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
