A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Enes Cantürk with Kai Havertz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Arda Göksel Yalman made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goalkeeper Arda Göksel Yalman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Arda Göksel Yalman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Bozkurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhun Eryaman didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kai Havertz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to Bozkurt getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ferdi Kadıoğlu hit a great ball. Luz Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Göksel Yalman having to interfere. If Emrullah Erboy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Bozkurt got a freekick which was hit by Enes Cantürk. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arda Göksel Yalman was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 74 minutes Bozkurt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Literski in the 76th minute of the match. Arda Göksel Yalman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Olgierd Literski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Peru were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Bozkurt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Alonso Berganza made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Bozkurt's Arda Göksel Yalman managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
