After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jenson Smith fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonas Chorache quite easily take care of the ball. Jonas Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Maurinho Senna suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 7 minutes, Koby Fletcher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USA and the ♦Diabetes♦ players grew even worse after the yellow card. ♦Diabetes♦'s Carolo Stephen was substituted for Maurinho Senna. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Koby Fletcher hit a great ball. Anthon Odén struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♦Diabetes♦. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anthon Odén hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. ♦Diabetes♦'s Jonas Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Milio in the 27th minute of the match. Jonas Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Isaltino Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Stephen in the 53rd minute of the match. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Ronaldinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Ronaldinho in the 57th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Anthon Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Baker in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Baker in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Chorache saved ♦Diabetes♦ from getting behind. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Stephen in the 92nd minute of play. ♦Diabetes♦'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anthon Odén in the 94th minute. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
