Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Aguilera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 18th minute. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 44th match minute, Los Hijos de Doña Beija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Albino Brion was substituted for Demy Ottens. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Aguilera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Brion in the 83rd minute of play. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Aguilera having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Brion in the 93rd minute of the match. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
