Jan-Åke Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jan-Åke Jönsson was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-Åke Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jan-Åke Jönsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Albins Kamrater's attentive Viktor Nyström managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. If Ernst Vikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when Albins Kamrater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 66th minute. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan-Åke Jönsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70thth minute of the game Emil Majtyka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Rudkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Albins Kamrater getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ludwig Abrahamsson hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Albins Kamrater's Viktor Nyström. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 76 minutes into the game, Viktor Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albins Kamrater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 78 played minutes Albins Kamrater got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Nyström.
