Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Szczucin's Badaz Kibøl got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Iwan Swoboda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emanuel Barbu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, FC Szczucin's Emanuel Barbu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Barbu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Swoboda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Barbu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Barbu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Julio Vera was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Emanuel Barbu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Barbu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Iwan Swoboda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Swoboda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Iwan Swoboda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Barbu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Iwan Swoboda made a huge save. After having played for 52 minutes, Emanuel Barbu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Szczucin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Barbu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Edmund Walentowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Szczucin's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Walentowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Emanuel Barbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match FC Szczucin got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmund Walentowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Szczucin's Arslan Sadreddin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Barbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Iwan Swoboda in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Iwan Swoboda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 80th minute Emanuel Barbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Iwan Swoboda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Szczucin made a substitution. Bernard Dembowski replaced Emanuel Barbu. After 87 minutes of play, FC Szczucin's Bernard Dembowski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmund Walentowicz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Szczucin booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
