Mito Momin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mito Momin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Emiliyan Dalchev charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliyan Dalchev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Lauta Army got a freekick which was hit by Emiliyan Dalchev. After some careless play in the Lauta Army defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mito Momin. The Lauta Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mito Momin should have stopped the shot. Mito Momin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Temelko Velinov during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Lauta Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Temelko Velinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mito Momin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delcho Vladimirov in the 47th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delcho Vladimirov made a kick off. Kaloyan Zhelezov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 58th minute. Lauta Army's Mito Momin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mito Momin came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustín Saelices slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 66th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mito Momin. The goal made the score 0-6. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Lauta Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delcho Vladimirov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mito Momin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Mito Momin in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mito Momin. That made the score 0-7 after 79 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Mito Momin made a huge save. Mito Momin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Mito Momin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of the match. Temelko Velinov kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
