Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Överås IK the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Bergsten in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Överås IK's Claes Axelsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 14 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcus Bergsten who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 81st minute of play forced Överås IK's goalkeeper Davide Galván to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Davide Galván tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Överås IK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Conrad Geipel hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Davide Galván. Överås IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Marcus Bergsten scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 2-1. When Marcus Bergsten came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Överås IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Bergsten couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Uruguay fans cheered their team off the field, for while Överås IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
