The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 7th minute of play forced Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jardel Messias, made in the 9th minute of the game. The throw-in from Valentín Carvallo in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tribos 4EVER's Jardel Messias. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gol in the 17th minute of play. Gustavo Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicanor Elequemedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Tribos 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. Nicanor Elequemedo made a great header on Tribos 4EVER's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. Edvin van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 28th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Gol in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Gol in the 35th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Tribos 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Edvin van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Gustavo Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Gustavo Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tribos 4EVER the free kick. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Gustavo Gol struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tribos 4EVER.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Valentín Carvallo in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tribos 4EVER's Jardel Messias. Edvin van der Saar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Villa in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 58th match minute, Tribos 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Faria to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Edvin van der Saar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Gol took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gustavo Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Valentín Carvallo in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tribos 4EVER's Jardel Messias. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Gol's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jardel Messias, made in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the game, Jardel Messias threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 87th minute. A collision led to Tribos 4EVER getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bruninho Breckenfeld hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tribos 4EVER could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
