Nilton Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 10th minute, Miguel Miralles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nilton Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 14th minute of play. Nilton Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Tribos 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Nilton Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tribos 4EVER defense, Abraham Alguacil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilton Cruz. The Tribos 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilton Cruz should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nilton Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Carita in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tribos 4EVER's Nilmar da Silveira. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Tribos 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Nilton Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.
The wind increased when Hílton Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Cambeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilton Cruz. That made the score 0-8 in the 60 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 69th minute of play forced Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilton Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes Miguel Miralles rounded Tribos 4EVER's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. 75 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilton Cruz. Tribos 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Nilton Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilton Cruz. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. Nilton Cruz was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Alex Cambeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nilton Cruz came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Cambeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 95th minute. A throw-in in the 98th minute of the game was made by Matthew Garrido with Alex Cambeiro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Through an outstanding action, after 99 minutes, Nilton Cruz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
