Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC U Cluj-N's 曾钢宁 started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 曾钢宁 took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Ivan Florescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mircea Calboreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of play. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of FC U Cluj-N:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. Mircea Calboreanu had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mircea Calboreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Florescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares stood somewhat misplaced when 曾钢宁 came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. After 27 minutes of play, FC U Cluj-N's Ivan Florescu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Calboreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Pascual Carballar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mircea Calboreanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute, Pascual Carballar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 43 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mircea Calboreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of FC U Cluj-N's Mircea Calboreanu. Mircea Calboreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Florescu in the 56th minute of play. FC U Cluj-N's Mircea Calboreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Ivan Florescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mircea Calboreanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 75 minutes of play, FC U Cluj-N's Ivan Florescu made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. FC U Cluj-N made a substitution. Cezar Coja replaced Iosif Bălcescu. Mircea Calboreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Secada's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When Cosmin Potocianu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC U Cluj-N fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmin Potocianu couldn't finish the play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 91st minute, Ignacio Mastache fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mircea Calboreanu, passed just outside the right post. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Florescu in the 92nd minute of play. A hard shot 93 in the game by Abram Secada from a close distance when the talented Mircea Calboreanu managed to make a qualified save. FC U Cluj-N's players were relieved. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
