In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rafineria Jasło's goalkeeper Fabian Tusk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zhao Sen Yang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Tusk having to make a save. Urko Molina took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Chiuzbaian. Ivan Chiuzbaian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafineria Jasło's Fabian Tusk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krystian Kluba, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Krystian Kluba took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ivan Chiuzbaian to make any attempt to save it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhao Sen Yang to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Urko Molina came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
