Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filinto Palhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Legalize MZ's corner Tanek Bobrowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filinto Palhares saved Legalize MZ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filinto Palhares was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Filinto Palhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filinto Palhares saved Legalize MZ from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filinto Palhares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filinto Palhares made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Guillermo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Legalize MZ's Dário Coelho got a free kick in the 70th minute. Legalize MZ's Filinto Palhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Legalize MZ from getting a goal against them. Orlando Casaus hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Legalize MZ's Isidro Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filinto Palhares, 0-1. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Franco in the 79th minute of play. When Legalize MZ's Arne Eschenbaum, in the 80th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Legalize MZ. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filinto Palhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Franco came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
