A collision led to Legalize MZ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dário Coelho hit a great ball. Filinto Palhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Legalize MZ's Palmiro Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute Legalize MZ were awarded a corner. Tanek Bobrowski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tanek Bobrowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Legalize MZ's Arne Eschenbaum slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. In the 24th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filinto Palhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Isidro Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legalize MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Gaona scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filinto Palhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filinto Palhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filinto Palhares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Legalize MZ's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filinto Palhares came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filinto Palhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Legalize MZ's goalie and right to Facundo Cadaval. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Legalize MZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 51 played minutes Legalize MZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Dorio. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Arne Eschenbaum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filinto Palhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Legalize MZ's goalkeeper Filinto Palhares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Nunes in the 81st minute of play. Palmiro Nunes scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palmiro Nunes took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Legalize MZ's goalkeeper Filinto Palhares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute. The Legalize MZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
