Wu Qi might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wu Qi ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Qi came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samurai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wu Qi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Alto Wing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Qi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Bivall kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wu Qi was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Wu Qi made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Samurai's Timmy Henriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Wu Qi sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Qi in the 79th minute. Wu Qis short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rdth minute of the game Wu Qi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Qi got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wu Qi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Wu Qi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 86th minute. Alto Wing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wu Qi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Qi in the 96th minute. Timmy Henriksson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the final whistle sounded Samurai left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Honduras.
