Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manolo Bartumeu's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joep Ponk went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nick Heesen went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Joep Ponk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ágætis Byrjun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 23rd minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Joep Ponk made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 0-6 became the score in the 27th minute when Joep Ponk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Ágætis Byrjun's Manolo Bartumeu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 33 minutes into the match, Joep Ponk notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Joep Ponk came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joep Ponk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joep Ponk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joep Ponk, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joep Ponk to strike the kick off in the second half. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. The Ágætis Byrjun fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Ágætis Byrjun's Joep Ponk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ditlev Delmont recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ágætis Byrjun's Gert van den Bergh was substituted for Joep Ponk. Ágætis Byrjun's Ernst Melis was substituted for Vitaliy Vorobey. Nick Heesen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Nick Heesen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nick Heesen in the 71st minute. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Nick Heesen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-15. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Nick Heesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-17.
