Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bullen's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toni Schumacher came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Schumacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bullen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt Pååk in the 17th minute. The corner led FC Bullen's Kurt Pååk to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Toni Schumacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 19th minute of play. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toni Schumacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Peru booed when FC Bullen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Topp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Schumacher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 61st minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Schumacher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play. FC Bullen's Edvard Sandström was substituted for Gustav Helander. In the 69th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Toni Schumacher saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute Amador Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kurt Pååk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Merexildo in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Toni Schumacher in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Toni Schumacher. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Beckman in the 87th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Amador Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
