Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. In the 5th match minute, Hawelka Himalayan High was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Fors to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koppány Novák in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Joshua Secada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Zawada shot from long distance in the 18th minute, but Jonathan Ferrant was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Säf in the 22nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Hawelka Himalayan High's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. If Chad Pro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koppány Novák in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Chad Pro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Fredrik Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The long shot by Dag Eliasson in the 44th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chad Pro. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koppány Novák stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Chad Pro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koppány Novák went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Chad Pro struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawelka Himalayan High. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chad Pro in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koppány Novák in the 78th minute of play. Severo Soter made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dag Eliasson. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koppány Novák, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Fredrik Bäckström made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the game, Hawelka Himalayan High's Krister Säf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hawelka Himalayan High fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
