The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Larson got free with Jose Nuñez in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Nuñez was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Gaétan Rémetter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaétan Rémetter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 13th minute, Camilo Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nichifor Nimass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute of the match, Nichifor Nimass got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jose Nuñez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zygmunt Bochinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Ferran's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute Camilo Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Bochinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Nuñez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaétan Rémetter in the 33rd minute. In the 47th minute, Ziemowit Lichorobiec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Ferran to make the kick off. Jose Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Nimass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st minute Nichifor Nimass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Larson in the 54th minute of play forced ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goalkeeper Jose Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Nicky Larson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Nuñez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Girondins4Ever could leave the field as winners, despite ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ having more of the ball for most of the match.
