Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aryakumara Snow started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Vitomir Vutov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes in the game, Julian Murillo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's Aryakumara Snow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Philotimo's Aryakumara Snow. But to his dismay, Aryakumara Snow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Peru's Luz Tejedor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitomir Vutov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitomir Vutov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 28th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Vitomir Vutov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Milagros Fraga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Philotimo's Stig-Arne Valler. 44 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitomir Vutov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After the first half Peru were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Philotimo's Vitomir Vutov got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Mauricio Froylan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Philotimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Mauricio Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. FC Philotimo's Alejandro Chorache was substituted for Edgard Donzel. FC Philotimo made a substitution. Efrain Fuentes replaced Aryakumara Snow. After 60 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Froylan. In the 64th minute of the match FC Philotimo got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stig-Arne Valler ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xeromo Garibay was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Peru's attentive Efraim Gilabert managed to snatch the ball when Checa Aguillar made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Vitomir Vutov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 76th minute. Peru's Luz Tejedor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Checa Aguillar, made in the 80th minute of the game. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Fuentes in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitomir Vutov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitomir Vutov. Vitomir Vutov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Philotimo.
