After having played for 6 minutes, Dane Friebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gärsnäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dane Friebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dane Friebe's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 18th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Hägglund to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, George Hägglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and George Hägglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gärsnäs BF's George Hägglund got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Tony Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wang Cheng. Gärsnäs BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Covarrubias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dane Friebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Dane Friebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Frederick Griscti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederick Griscti was the one to do the kick off. When Frederick Griscti fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gärsnäs BF's protests and gave Frederick Griscti a yellow card for diving instead. Frederick Griscti kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Gärsnäs BF's Dane Friebe got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dane Friebe succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gärsnäs BF's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wang Cheng came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
