Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ponciano De Pedro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 7th minute of play. Ponciano De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ponciano De Pedro having to make a save. Auriolam II C.F.'s Ponciano De Pedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ponciano De Pedro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francesc Balmaseda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ponciano De Pedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gisbert made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ponciano De Pedro having to interfere. Ponciano De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Sven-Erik Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesc Balmaseda in the 46th minute. Auriolam II C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabri Gutierrez in the 47th minute. Gabri Gutierrez made a great header on Auriolam II C.F.'s corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Godoy made a kick off. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ponciano De Pedro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Daniel Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ponciano De Pedro made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ponciano De Pedro saved Auriolam II C.F. from getting behind. In the 57th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Auriolam II C.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Auriolam II C.F.'s Miguel Godoy. But to his dismay, Miguel Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Miguel Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Miguel Godoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Auriolam II C.F.'s Jesús Perera was substituted for Miguel Godoy. In the 81stth minute of the game Jesús Perera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Auriolam II C.F.'s Francesc Balmaseda. But to his dismay, Francesc Balmaseda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Cristian Sancho in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ponciano De Pedro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Perera in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Perera in the 94th minute of play.
