Cruz Credo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Facundo Altamirano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cruz Credo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Roberto Mouzo hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Credo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Maravilla's Cruz Credo in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The referee gave Maravilla a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cruz Credo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Credo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 41stth minute of the game Cruz Credo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Cruz Credo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Maravilla's Cruz Credo. But to his dismay, Cruz Credo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0.

Paulus Van Poucke ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Primitivo Txanton managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 72ndth minute of the game Cruz Credo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Gentil. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maravilla fully deserved thier win.
