Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Felix Racoviță slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txomin Astudillo in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Felix Racoviță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Txomin Astudillo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Racoviță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 18th minute of play forced Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s goalkeeper Piorno Camino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Racoviță in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. were awarded a corner. Haroldo Txurio went to the cornerflag to take it. Haroldo Txurio made a great header on Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Txomin Astudillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Xove Olano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Xove Olano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Felix Racoviță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Xove Olano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Txomin Astudillo succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. In the 42nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Jacinto Firmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Racoviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Txomin Astudillo made a kick off. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Piorno Camino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Felix Racoviță took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txomin Astudillo in the 60th minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txomin Astudillo in the 63rd minute of play. Xove Olano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Xove Olano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 71st minute, Xove Olano made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Xove Olano scored 9-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Baeza in the 90th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Txurio was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s corner Haroldo Txurio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Baeza, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xove Olano in the 94th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. fully deserved thier win.
