Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SeleSantos FC's Niilo Mikkola started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A hard shot 11 in the game by Niilo Mikkola from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Niilo Mikkola came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Gayoso could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niilo Mikkola in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinei Pinheiro saved SeleSantos FC from getting behind. If Niilo Mikkola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niilo Mikkola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 32 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Ortiz. Jaime Cazalla scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinei Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 minutes, João Pedro Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SeleSantos FC and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SeleSantos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! SeleSantos FC:s Dinei Pinheiro showed great skill when he stopped Jaime Cazalla:s penalty. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by SeleSantos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Alberto Gisbert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's Niilo Mikkola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The SeleSantos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niilo Mikkola in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Niilo Mikkola managed to get in a good position for a shot. SeleSantos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niilo Mikkola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 58th minute. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Dinei Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacobo Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Törnqvist in the 72nd minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, SeleSantos FC's Niilo Mikkola made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Casado went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Niilo Mikkola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Niilo Mikkola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Dinei Pinheiro made a huge save. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 96th minute of play. SeleSantos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
