The corner was taken by Nestor Batista in the 10th minute. A well done corner resulted in Jimeno Henric drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Venezuela's goalkeeper. In the 15th minute of the match, Gong Zhan Chen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gong Zhan Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play forced └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s goalkeeper Arlindo Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s Ronaldo Simão got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Arlindo Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nestor Batista. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gong Zhan Chen in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Simão came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Henric came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Jimeno Henric left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Simão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Jimeno Henric took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Jimeno Henric got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Henric came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Ronaldo Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Arlindo Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Nestor Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Simão in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Zhan Chen in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Arlindo Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. When Joshua Secada, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arlindo Rossi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Henric in the 93rd minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. └◘RivierA▬Þauli§tA◘┘ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
