Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Ecuador booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valko Chochkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Erasmo Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valko Chochkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Teixeira in the 31st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Veiga in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DOROSTOL Ss getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Valko Chochkov hit a great ball. DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save DOROSTOL Ss from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute Toshko Strezov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Erasmo Veiga made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Rivero having to make a save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Erasmo Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Teixeira came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Toshko Strezov sent off a good shot on target. DOROSTOL Ss were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquin Oriol took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Velichko Petzev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute DOROSTOL Ss were awarded a corner. Joaquin Oriol went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valko Chochkov in the 82nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Nicolas Teixeira put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. 94 minutes into the game, Cafu Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DOROSTOL Ss's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The DOROSTOL Ss supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DOROSTOL Ss would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
